But there is so much content, that any tycoon fan just has to enjoy it. Speaking from experience here :-). Game has never worked for me, and after numerous posts with evidence to the developers on their forums, years and years later the game still doesn't work. So I can't recommend this game until it works properly.. Terrible game. Got it because I thought it was a zoo tycoon clone. It was a clone, but a braindead, vegetable, on-life-support clone.. I've played this game for a few hours and ultimately I've decided that it's just a bad game. The limited animal selection is boring, the campaignes are tedious, and the park leveling system is incredibly stressful. The interface is also incredibly complicated and awkward to use. The music is monotonous and the voice acting incredibly tacky.If you want a time decently fun time waster, I'd say you could go for this game. Definitely only get this game if it's on sale, though. I got it for around $3 and I'm glad I didn't spend any more. It's not worth $10.. i can get in to the game now but mapes wont load. says i have reinstall it witch i have.. This game lags like a ♥♥♥♥♥ and i really can not play it because the menus freeze it really is sad because you really had something going for you in the second game.. Played wildlife park 2 when I was six and I loved it.This one however, is complete garbage. It seems they took out all the good stuff, added some bad stuff, some how made the graphics worse yet I still only get 16-30fps on medium settings, whic for a zoo sim game shouldn't happen.. Considering the Zoo Tycoon franchise seems to be done making new games, this is a great alternative if you're looking for a zoo sim that has updated graphics in comparison. It has about the same management design, although the range of available animals are smaller than ZT.In comparison to ZT, they actually add a mechanic missing from that series that makes sense: climate controls. For example, if your zoo is a cold tundra, rather than simply placing some savannah grass for an African animal, you also need a heater to keep them warm, or they'll probably freeze to death.As a possible con for some people, if you're like me in sometimes wanting to make a sandbox game to just make your animals breed into a huge colony, you're going to be disappinted here. Each species has a maximum number of animals you can have in their exhibit before they stop breeding. Beyond that, there's a maximum number of animals you can have in your park period before ALL of the animals stop breeding entirely regardless.Overall, I recommend this if you're looking for a graphics update to the Zoo Tycoon series while having similar game mechanics.. couldnt believe the negative reviews. bought it cheap. regret every penny. guy who let the ui happen should get fired.there are flaws in the gamedesign that depend on your opinion, like temperature for your environment which is not a bad idea but the visual design of the heat n coolers are a joke. you need to make your zoo as pretty as possible, because people are interested in how the zoo looks an not into the animals (which are far not enough in variety), and than you have those huge♥♥♥♥♥radiators standing out of everywere to keep temp stable.the crew is stationary, they only move in a designated quadrant around them... you have to place more of them than you need or make the cages smaller.but the worst of all .......i play arma 3 on max settings with 60fps+ as any other game for usual, but insiders know... if arma runs smooth... ANY other game runs better.this... right from the start... first cage, 12 animals 0 visitors.... fps slowdowns to 30 and konstant freezes when you open use the ui, like when you want to place an animal, a plant or just click on anything on the uiohh and lets not forgett that in that short time of playing i encountered 4 bugs.great job!!to this day Zoo Tycoon 1 is still the best :( Achievements launched!: New version 1.23 is live!
